2004 Late Harvest Riesling
VQA Niagara Peninsula
Harvest
The grapes for our 2004 Reserve Late Harvest Riesling were harvested on January 4, 2005.

Winemaking
The grapes were left on the vine after the regular harvest date allowing the fruit to naturally dehydrate, thus enhancing the varietal’s flavour, complexity and natural sugar. The juice was fermented in stainless steel to preserve the intense fruit characters and delicate bouquet.

Winemaker's Notes
Golden in colour, this delightful wine displays lively aromas of lychee, orange blossom, golden delicious apples and distinct mineral notes characteristic of the Riesling grape. On the palate, delicious tropical flavours of pineapple and kiwi delicately fold with crip acidity to conclude with a rich full bodied finish.

Food Pairings
Serve slightly chilled on it own, with fresh fruit, foie gras or pâté, poached pears or Roquefort cheese.
